Christmas Tree Disposal Service 2022/23
Dublin City Council will provide a free Christmas tree disposal service at a selection of bring centres, civic amenity sites and local drop off points from 6th to 22nd January 2023. All trees will be recycled for use as compost and wood chips.

Monday – Thursday: 9am – 1pm, 2pm – 4pm
Friday: 9am – 1pm
Saturday: 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 4pm
Sunday 9th, 16th & 23rd January only: 10am – 2pm
Ringsend Civic Amenity Site, Pigeon House Road, Dublin 4

Monday – Wednesday: 9am – 5pm
Thursday, Friday: 9am – 6pm
Saturday: 9am – 4pm
Local drop off points
Christmas trees will be accepted free of charge at the following locations between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Thursday 6th January until Sunday 22nd January 2023. Please do not deposit items outside of these times as it is a litter offence and you may be fined.

Sandymount Strand Car Park, Strand Road, Dublin 4
Clontarf Promenade Car Park, Clontarf Dublin 3*
Mellowes Park Depot, Mellowes Road, Finglas, Dublin 11

*Please note the usual site at Clontarf All Weather Pitches Car Park is not available this year. An alternative site has been sourced at Clontarf Promenade Car Park, Opposite St. Anthony’s Church.
Croke Park
Christmas trees can be recycled at Croke Park from 4th to 6th January and from 9th to 13th January 2023. All visitors must enter the stadium via the St. Joseph's Avenue entrance only; car parking is available.
