John & Aoife Coughlan from Ard na Gréine would like to thank everyone who very kindly supported their recent fundraising effort for Crumlin Hospital.

Their son Oisín spent the first 74 days of his life in the cardiac unit in Crumlin and the family wanted to raise some funds as a way of saying thank you to the amazing staff there.

The fundraiser which was called Oisín's Warrior Run, involved John running 200km with Oisín in his buggy during the month of June. What initially he hoped might raise a few thousand euro, culminated in the family presenting a cheque for €29,307 to the team in Crumlin.

Oisín's story resonated with a lot of people and the family really appreciate the fantastic kindness and generosity that was shown. A great achievement that will make a big difference to many other children like Oisín.
