One outcome of the temporary 5Km travel limit that applied during the pandemic is that it opened our eyes to the beauty of places that are very close to home. Being denied access not only to foreign travel – but also a twenty five minute bus trip into town was a chastening but educational experience.

This gallery is still confined to photos taken by residents within a five kilometre radius of Ayrfield. it is a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us as well as serving to record sometimes fleeting curiosities .
